Midwife Access Program Terms
1. The program
The Midwife Access Program gives registered midwives access to the Elle TENS 2 at wholesale pricing for their personal birthing kit, along with trade pricing on genuine Body Clock TENS electrodes and labour accessories. The program is operated by Elle TENS Australia.
2. Eligibility
Membership is open to midwives who hold a current general or endorsed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). You must provide your full name as registered and your AHPRA registration number (format NMW followed by ten digits) when you apply. We verify every application against the AHPRA public register and re-verify all members annually following the 31 May registration renewal. Student midwives and lapsed or suspended registrations are not eligible. We may decline any application at our discretion.
3. Device purchases
Approved members may purchase one Elle TENS 2 device on joining at the program price of $200 (20 per cent off the recommended retail price of $250). A second device may be purchased after 12 months of membership, provided you have met the electrode purchase requirement in clause 5 over that period. A maximum of two program devices may be owned at any time. TENS devices are GST-free medical devices, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Every device purchased through the program is registered to you individually, with its serial number recorded against your account.
4. Personal kit use only. No resale or hire
Devices purchased through the program are strictly for use in your own professional birthing kit. You must not resell, hire out, lend for fee, or otherwise commercially supply program devices to any third party. This is a strict condition of membership. Breach results in immediate removal from the program and may result in cancellation of pending orders.

5. Electrode purchases
Program pricing on devices is offered on the understanding that you purchase your maternity electrodes through Elle TENS Australia. Electrodes are single-use per client. To remain in good standing, and to qualify for the Refresher Program, you need either
- a minimum of 12 maternity electrode packs purchased in each rolling 12-month period, or
- an active maternity electrode subscription with us, which satisfies the requirement automatically.
Members below this level keep their electrode and accessory discounts but lose device and refresher purchase entitlements until they re-qualify.
6. The Refresher Program
Once a registered program device is two years old, you may replace it at the refresher price of $180 (a further 10 per cent off the program price). Refresher eligibility requires that you have met the electrode purchase requirement in clause 5 across the two years since the device was registered. The replaced device must be returned to us. We provide a reply-paid return label with your refresher order, and the returned unit's serial number is retired against your account.
7. Verification and fraud controls
We check every application and may hold or decline any order for review. Checks include AHPRA register verification, state and address cross-checks, duplicate account detection, order velocity limits, and screening against our internal exclusion list. Devices ship only after checks are cleared. Approval decisions are made by our team and are final.
8. Privacy
We collect your name, AHPRA registration number, contact details and purchase history solely to administer the program, verify your registration (including annual re-verification against the AHPRA public register), and register devices to you. Your AHPRA number is stored securely, is never used for marketing, and is deleted if you close your account. We do not collect Medicare provider numbers or any client or patient information. 9. General
All payments are due at the time of order. We do not offer payment terms or credit accounts. We may update program pricing, entitlements or these terms with 30 days notice to members. Membership is personal and not transferable. Devices remain subject to their standard manufacturer warranty. These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.
