Midwife Access Program
The Midwife Access Program gives AHPRA-registered midwives the Elle TENS 2 at program pricing for their own birthing kit, along with trade pricing on genuine electrodes and labour accessories. It is the only way to buy an Elle TENS device at trade price.
What members receive
- The Elle TENS 2 at $200 for your personal birthing kit (recommended retail $260). Devices are registered to you and approved case by case, having regard to your caseload and electrode requirements.
- Trade pricing on genuine maternity electrodes, square electrodes, lead wires, Acu-Combs and massage roller balls, in the same pack sizes as the Wholesale Program.
- The Refresher Program. Once a registered device is two years old, replace it for $180, provided you have purchased your electrodes through us. The replaced unit is returned with the reply-paid label we supply.
- A dedicated sign-in with your pricing built in, and one ordering page at elletens.com.au/collections/wholesale-ordering.
The conditions that matter
- Membership is open to midwives with current general or endorsed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. We verify every application against the AHPRA public register and re-verify members annually.
- Program devices are strictly for your own professional birthing kit. They must not be resold, hired out or lent for a fee. If your clients want their own Elle TENS, refer them through the Affiliate Program and earn a commission.
- Program pricing on devices relies on you buying your maternity electrodes through us. The full requirement is in the terms.
- Payment is due at checkout. We do not offer account terms.
How to apply
- Apply online with your name as registered and your AHPRA registration number (format NMW followed by ten digits).
- We verify your registration and review the application, usually within two business days.
- Once approved, sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Your program pricing appears automatically.

Frequently asked questions
I am a doula or birth educator, not a midwife. Can I join?
The device entitlement is for AHPRA-registered midwives only. Doulas and birth educators are welcome in the Wholesale Program for electrodes and accessories at trade prices.
Can my practice buy several devices?
Additional devices may be approved where your practice's caseload supports it. Each device is registered to an individual midwife.
Is GST charged on the device?
No. TENS devices and their electrodes are GST-free medical items. The price you see is the price you pay.
