Understanding the Difference in Preparation

As the official authorised provider, Elle TENS Australia prepares every hire unit to a very specific standard.

Each machine is carefully checked, tested and prepared, with medical-grade sanitisation between hires. This is something we manage directly as part of our process, so that when your unit arrives, you can feel confident that everything is ready to use.

Trusted partners may also offer hire services, however their individual preparation processes can vary.

What makes them a trusted partner is not that they follow the exact same preparation process, but that we know they are using genuine, manufacturer-approved electrodes and accessories designed specifically for Elle TENS devices.

This distinction matters because it means that even when hiring through a trusted partner, the core components of your device meet the correct safety and quality standards.

In some cases, non-trusted providers may also be using older machines that are no longer within the manufacturer’s recommended lifespan. Devices that are over two years old are no longer covered under warranty, and we often see machines in circulation that are significantly older than this.

While they may still operate, they haven’t been maintained within the same standards or coverage as newer devices, which can impact reliability.
