Pelvic mode (For Incontinence)
One in three women suffer from some form of incontinence during her life. It can occur at any time, most commonly after childbirth.
The Elle TENS Plus Pelvic mode is an ultra simple, yet powerful digital Pelvic Floor Stimulator (PFS). It is designed for use by women of all ages to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles and to treat incontinence. Women with strong pelvic floor muscles enjoy greater control over their bladder, increased vaginal tone and greater sensation during intercourse.
Pain mode
Elle TENS Plus can be used for many chronic and acute pain conditions such as back pain, shoulder pain, arthritis, sciatica, sports injuries, migraine, period pain and postoperative pain.
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) works by passing mild electrical impulses through the skin, into the nerve fibres which lie below, via electrode pads. TENS impulses help your body produce its own pain-killing chemicals, such as ‘endorphins’.
Good for knees. I didn’t actually get to use the thing for labour because my contractions started a minute apart so I didn’t get the opportunity which is an expensive shame, but it was hilarious sticking it to my boyfriend and turning it up to eleven. I can see how it would be great for labour though. It’d give you something to focus on. Hopefully I will use it for the next baby.
Best investment I’ve ever made.. I don’t usually write reviews, this one is worth the time. I wrote up a birth plan like most women going into labour the first time. The Elle TENS plus machine was on the top of my list with epidural on the bottom, reviewing my plan with people I had to have an open mind about drugs because they said the machine didn’t work for everyone.
It worked for me. I ended up having an emergency forceps delivery and an episiotomy still with 3rd degree tearing. I made it through it all with the Elle TENS and gas. Postpartum I use the plus for muscle aches and pains.
I’ve lent the machine to two friends, positive reviews from them and the medical staff.

I use it at night in order to achieve a decent nights sleep! Would otherwise be taking painkillers throughout the night. Also offers pain relief during the day if I overdo the exercises. I did not realise that this was also to be used for labour when I purchased it. However, I will be encouraging my daughter-in-law to try it.

Highly Recommended. Having seen plenty of reviews from women detailing how effective the machine is, after a very long labour, we can confirm that it helps greatly. The pads stayed on and sticky for the around 60 hours they were required and the included batteries held out fine. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend . I’d highly recommend this product to anyone for labour and birth. I am a first time mum and this was the only form of pain relief I used. The incremental levels and burst button / contraction timer are great features and provide an excellent distraction from the contraction. This TENS machine provided a great form of pain relief throughout (until pushing phase) and I will certainly use this again. I’ve also used this post partum for general pain relief, sore muscles etc.

Pelvic floor attachment is a life saver. I did request an epidural after labouring at home for several hours with my posterior baby BUT the tens machine was a great help initially.
The reason I am reviewing is to say that the pelvic floor attachment has helped me get back into running by reducing any leaking.
It’s made a noticeable difference within a few short weeks, and it feels great being confident that I can run, laugh and sneeze without worrying about the odd leak! ??
