How It Works?

SensaTONE devices stimulate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles to overcome urge, stress and mixed incontinence for both men and women following either birth, menopause or prostate surgery.

Learn more about how it works

Mode A
Urge incontinence
People who experience urge incontinence get a strong feeling to urinate even when the bladder isn’t full. If you experience urge incontinence you may also have the need pass urine more frequently. Even if you don’t accidentally lose urine, the urgency and frequency of needing to find a toilet can interfere with everyday activities.

Mode A should be used for 30 minutes 1-2 times per day.

Mode B
Stress Incontinence
Stress incontinence is the accidental leaking of urine when you exercise, cough, sneeze or laugh. This can occur after childbirth or following menopause when the pelvic floor muscles that support the urethra (bladder outlet) may lose strength.

Mode B should be used for 30 minutes once every 1-2 days.

Mode C
Mixed incontinence
Some people experience a combination of urge and stress incontinence. Mode C is designed to treat both forms of incontinence in the same treatment session.

Mode C should be used for 45 minutes once a day.

Mode D
After care
Following a session of treatment in either modes A, B or C, the After care mode (mode D) is an optional mode that can be used directly after any other mode providing you are not experiencing muscle fatigue. It can also be used as a maintenance mode after you have experienced.

It is suggested that this mode used no more
than between 15-30 minutes per day

  1. It really does work!. I must admit I was very sceptical about this working but went in with a positive mindset and it really does work. I needed to give it a decent amount of time (3ish months) but I have noticed a huge difference (and my stress incontinence was pretty bad, now its very minor and still improving). Not the most pleasant thing to do, but after getting used to the program I am able to somewhat tune it out (by no means is it painful or terribly unpleasant but just a bit weird feeling). Definitely a lot cheaper and less full on than seeing a pelvic physio etc.
Shipping was a little slow as it was via courier and my box was a bit squashed but product was unharmed.

  2. More detailed would be helpful. It took me a few months of use to realised I had the metal sensors facing the wrong directions. The instruction didn’t specify that it needs to be facing my thighs – I had it front to back, google didn’t tell me and I found out via YouTube. Since correcting the position it had help. Finally able to cough without liner!

  3. BUY IT. After the birth of my second child I did months of pelvic floor strengthening (without the sensatone) before getting frustrated that I wasn’t gaining much benefit. I asked my physio if there was anything else I could do. She recommended this device.
I have been using it for ONE WEEK and can finally feel significant strength gains and muscle thickening. It seems to have “woken up” muscles my brain wasnt communicating with effectively.
My husband noticed the difference straight away and was shocked at the improvement. Don’t accept a weak pelvic floor after babies! Get this. Get a letter from your doctor/physio and claim it on private health extras, if you can. Or just pay for it.

  2. L Branch

Sex is better too!. I have been using this little machine about 5 times a week since August and have felt an improvement. Sex is better too. The advantage to this system over the exercise based system is you can just sit and tune out while the machine does the work.

  3. Rossie

Thank you!. Thank you very much!

  5. Szilvia
