Pelvic mode (For Incontinence)
One in three women suffer from some form of incontinence during her life. It can occur at any time, most commonly after childbirth.
The Elle TENS Plus Pelvic mode is an ultra simple, yet powerful digital Pelvic Floor Stimulator (PFS). It is designed for use by women of all ages to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles and to treat incontinence. Women with strong pelvic floor muscles enjoy greater control over their bladder, increased vaginal tone and greater sensation during intercourse.
Pain mode
Elle TENS Plus can be used for many chronic and acute pain conditions such as back pain, shoulder pain, arthritis, sciatica, sports injuries, migraine, period pain and postoperative pain.
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) works by passing mild electrical impulses through the skin, into the nerve fibres which lie below, via electrode pads. TENS impulses help your body produce its own pain-killing chemicals, such as ‘endorphins’.
Great pain relief . Couldn’t have survived labour without it! Refused to be parted from it so did not utilise baths, showers etc! Gave me a great sense of control in managing pain effectively. Was used as the only initial pain relief supplemented with gas in the later stages and did a great job! Would definitely recommend.

No other pain relief . Whilst I’m not sure it helped with the pain of contractions , it was really great to time them and the time between them . It really helped me focus and helped me to know when a contraction was due or how long there was left and get through them .Right at the end when there was no break in between I was just pressing the buttons randomly but still it gave me something to focus on. I had no other pain relief at all and I would say this was a great product for labour
Lifesaver. We had an hour drive from home to the hospital, the tens machine made the contractions so much more easier to manage! I’d recommend a tens machine to anyone who is pregnant!
Amazing customer service 3 years on…. I bought my Elle tens plus in 2015 and used it for my first birth, and then subsequently for back pain that followed. Loved it, batteries last a long time, very easy to use, unobtrusive, can’t speak highly enough of it.Then when I went to dust it off the other day, (3 years later) it had stopped working, just a week before I was due with my 2nd. I got in touch with customer service online and within hours heard back from the UK team. However realising it was the Oz team I needed to speak to, I left a message on the Oz contact number the next day and within hours got a personal call back! Though the warranty on the product was only 2 years, I was advised that they rarely have a problem like this, and Ryan the Australia representative arranged for a replacement unit. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the level of customer service quality and commitment from the reps both here and in the UK. I am so glad that I choose to spend the money on the Elle tens plus especially now knowing that there is a real team of people who truely believe in and support the product wholeheartedly. Needless to say that I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend . I’d highly recommend this product to anyone for labour and birth. I am a first time mum and this was the only form of pain relief I used. The incremental levels and burst button / contraction timer are great features and provide an excellent distraction from the contraction. This TENS machine provided a great form of pain relief throughout (until pushing phase) and I will certainly use this again. I’ve also used this post partum for general pain relief, sore muscles etc.

Pelvic floor attachment is a life saver. I did request an epidural after labouring at home for several hours with my posterior baby BUT the tens machine was a great help initially.
The reason I am reviewing is to say that the pelvic floor attachment has helped me get back into running by reducing any leaking.
It’s made a noticeable difference within a few short weeks, and it feels great being confident that I can run, laugh and sneeze without worrying about the odd leak! ??
